Adaptability and Resilience: “Adversity doesn’t build character, it reveals it.”
My third point from 18 December was that when looking at “People don’t always show up the way you want to” from The Mockingjay, is that individuals need to be able to adapt in the face of unpredictability. The narrative teaches that true strength lies not in controlling others but in adapting to the ever-changing dynamics of relationships.
One of my favorite sayings is “Adversity doesn’t build character, it reveals it.” The characters in Suzanne Collins' manuscript navigate a world filled with shifting alliances, moral complexities, and ever-changing dynamics. This theme of adaptability speaks to the broader lessons about strength and growth in the face of adversity.
